Beijing Destroys Pornographic Materials
The Beijing Public Security Bureau destroyed Thursday some 16,000 pornographic publications and 80,000 pornographic pictures it confiscated this year.
Beijing has intensified a crackdown on production and circulation of pornographic publications and VCDs.
By the end of July this year, the bureau foiled 880 cases of manufacturing and dealing pornographic publications involving 1, 122 suspects. During the operations, some 1.24 million illegal publications were confiscated.
