Australian Swimmer Hackett Breaks 1500 Meters Short-Course World Record
Grant Hackett of
Australia
broke the men's 1,500 meters freestyle short-course world record at the Australian Short Course Championships in Perth on Tuesday.
Hackett clocked 14 minutes 10.10 seconds, beating his own world mark of 14:19.55 set in Perth in 1998.
