Zhuhai to Forge Closer Cooperation Ties With HK
This nearest Chinese mainland city to Macao will cooperate closely with Hong Kong in ten aspects in the years to come.
Sources at a recent seminar on economic cooperation between Zhuhai and Hong Kong said that the ten aspects would include airports, ports, new international bilingual schools, training of high-level managerial personnel from both places, real estate, conferences, exhibitions and fairs, finance and specialized services and pre-stage research on the construction of a bridge to cross the sea.
Many of the cooperation projects have attracted the attention of the governments of Guangdong Province, Hong Kong and Macao, and of companies from those places.
Agreements for cooperation on some projects in Zhuhai, which falls under the jurisdiction of Guangdong Province, have been signed, according to the sources.
