Hong Kong to Host Food Expo 2001 in August
Food Expo 2001 of Hong Kong will be held August 16-20 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center, announced the Trade Development Council, the expo organizer, Monday.
The expo, started in 1990, has become the most popular food and beverage promotional event for the public, boosting the growth of the local food industry.
The fairground of this year will be divided into nine zones, including beverages, biscuits and snacks and confectionery, canned and frozen and convenient food, and sauces and seasonings.
Around 230 exhibitors from Hong Kong and overseas will present a great variety of food items and beverages, some of which are launched in the market for the first time.
