Cyclone Kills One, Injures 30 in Southern China

A rare cyclone hit the coastal area near Dongli Town, Leizhou city in south China's Guangdong Province on August 2, killing one and injuring at least 30.

The cyclone also caused 16 fishing boats to capsize, a local source said.

The cyclone hit the coastal area at about 6:00 in the morning and wreaked havoc for some 15 minutes.

According to the source, all the injured have already been sent to hospital and the overturned fishing boats have been returned to right side up.
