Foreign Minister Meets with ASEAN Secretary-General

Chinese Foreign Minister Tang Jiaxuan met with Rodolfo Severino, Secretary-General of Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and his entourage in Beijing Wednesday.

The two sides highly praised the development of Sino-ASEAN relations in recent years and exchanged views on regional and international issues of common interest.

Prior to the meeting, Vice Foreign Minister Wang Yi held talks with Rodolfo Severino, who arrived in Beijing for a visit on the invitation of Wang Yi on July 31.
