What Lee Teng-hui Is Up to Is Only Too EvidentLee Teng-hui, already retired for one year, has come out from behind the scene to the front-stage. Recently, he has stepped up preparation for forming a so-called the Lee's political organization to participate in this year-end election, he threatened that he would help the Democratic Progress Party (DPP) to win a majority seat, revealing his intention to rid the "native faction" of the Kuomintang, in an attempt to split this party.People can't help asking: Lee Teng-hui, an octogenarian, wanders about doing all sorts of evils, and is openly working hand in glove with the DPP in an attempt to destroy the Kuomintang, is it that is what he has pledged "he would die together with the Kuomintang if need be"? Lee Teng-hui, as former chairman of the Kuomintang, has tried every means to undermine the Kuomintang, superficially, this seems going against logical thinking, those who are ignorant of the fact think that this is caused by "internal strife". In fact it is dictated by his "Taiwan independence" nature. In his eyes, the Kuomintang in Taiwan is only a "political power from outside", which will not continue his dozen-year "line", so he can feel satisfied only after he gets rid of the Kuomintang. Lee Teng-hui who wants only "Taiwan independence" and not "his personality", at the beginning of taking office, he began fostering the DPP which targeted at realizing "Taiwan independence", enlisted all separatist forces. Using "populism" as a means, he employed "nativity" in name, while in actuality he got rid of those who disagreed with him, he had successively forced a number of important members out of the Kuomintang, resulting in the division of the Kuomintang several times. The Kuomintang members who were forced out in succession have formed a new party, thus weakening the internal strength of the Kuomintang. During the election of Taiwan leader last year, Lee Teng-hui caused the re-division of the Kuomintang, through attacking those who held different views, overtly and covertly supported the DPP candidate, as a result, the DPP finally won the political power. The "century-old store", the Kuomintang, suffered a disastrous defeat in the election and was reduced to an opposition party. Regarding this, Lee Teng-hui openly declared that he "had made use of the Kuomintang to accomplish what he wanted to do". No wonder some Kuomintang members indignantly said: Lee Teng-hui "works for the interest of an opposing group at the expense of his own party", there is nothing worse than this! After the Taiwan new leader took office, Lee Teng-hui constantly gave him personal instructions and helped him secretly. Seeing the case of recall started by the opposition parties and was triggered by the suspension of the fourth nuclear power station, political instability, and economic recession, particularly the cooperative participation in this year-end election by the opposition parties including the Kuomintang and the People First Party, Lee was on the tenterhooks. In order to undermine the cooperation between the Kuomintang and the People First Party and to help the DPP to "tide over difficulties", he resorted to his old trick, on the one hand, he sowed dissension among the opposition parties to undermine their cooperation; on the other hand, he plotted to force the "native faction" out of the Kuomintang to form a new party, to break up the internal force of the Kuomintang; at the same time he stepped up "collaboration" with the DPP, in an attempt to extend his political life by relying on the DPP and realize his ulterior "ideal". Just as some news media have sharply pointed out Lee Teng-hui's smug calculation is: on the one hand, he hopes to reorganize a political organization to help the DPP to win a stable majority seat in the so-called "Legislative Yuan" and, on the other hand, attacking the Kuomintang so as to throw it into "a splitting state." Sima Zhao's trick is obvious to every man in the street- the villain's design is obvious. More and more Taiwan people have seen through Lee Teng-hui's true color when he wanders about doing all sorts of evils. Some people within the Kuomintang strongly demand expelling Lee Teng-hui from the Kuomintang. We advise 80-year-old Lee Teng-hui stop doing anymore evils.
