China Issues Latest Warning About Typhoon Toraji
China's central meteorological station issued a warning over Typhoon Toraji at six o'clock Sunday evening, saying that it will hit north
Taiwan
province Sunday night or Monday morning.
The typhoon was located 140 kilometers southeast of Taiwan's Hualien at 5:00 am Sunday, the station said in a statement.
According to the statement, Typhoon Toraji will hit China's eastern coast from Zhoushan in
Zhejiang
province to Xiapu in
Fujian
province from Monday night to midday Tuesday.
The typhoon is expected to bring strong winds and torrential rain to those areas.
