An official representing Motorola (China) Electronics Ltd. has apologized to Chinese customers who use Motorola V998+ mobile phones.

The official said that some V998+ mobiles have problems that have inconvenienced customers. Motorola has paid close attention to the "V998+ issue" and is committed to repairing all V998 mobiles which have problems within five days.

On July 21 and July 22, Motorola's branch in Fuzhou, the capital of Fujian Province, held two days of free after-sales service, including special offers to Motorola mobile users.

According to the official, Motorola will begin from August to offer a one-week free maintenance service in major Chinese cities to solve problems for its customers.

Some V998+ mobile users in Fuzhou complained about the phone's quality, and some users have had their mobile phones repaired several times or even changed mobiles.
