Death of Two Swedes Has Nothing to Do with China Red Bull

Zha Feng, CEO of China Red Bull, made it clear recently that there exists only tiny differences in 'recipes' between Chinese Red Bull and Swedish Red Bull, and under normal circumstances no health problems will be caused for drinking this beverage.

Zha made the remarks to deny the rumor that the Chinese soft drink can cause death just because two Swedes died after drinking the Red Bull and he said the company has not received any sale ban from the Swedish government.

A report carried in Beijing Youth Daily said, Zha had reiterated 'normal circumstances' mean 'normal drinking quantity by a normal person under normal condition'.

The major components of Red Bull are water, vitamin B, amino acid and caffeine. As to the caffeine content most concerned by the media, Zha made the explanation that the caffeine content in Red Bull is the same with tinned Coca-Cola, much lower than the content in a cup of coffee.

Regarding how to drink Red Bull, the CEO said the result of drinking Red Bull mixed with wine is not bad and there is still no evidence proving that death of the two young Swedish was caused by drinking the mixture of Red Bull and wine.
