India to Make Efforts for Peaceful Ties With Pakistan
Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee Friday said that the National Democratic Alliance government would continue to make efforts for having peaceful relations with
Pakistan
.
Speaking to a group of BJP leaders, he said that his government would take more steps for having peace in the region and would also discuss with the Pakistani leadership the issue of cross border terrorism.
At the meeting, the BJP leaders congratulated Vajpayee for his "superb handling of the summit level talks with Pakistan."
