Vice-President Watches Performance Marking Tibet Peaceful Liberation Anniversary
Chinese Vice President Hu Jintao attended a grand performance marking the 50th anniversary of the peaceful liberation of Tibet here at the people's hall Friday night.

Hu, also a member of the Political Bureau Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, is head of a central government delegation for celebration activities for the anniversary in Tibet.

The performance highlighted the theme of patriotism and good wishes for a brighter future for Tibet.

Staged by a central art troupe, which arrived in the region along with the central government delegation, the performance will be given in a number of counties and prefectures in Tibet.
