Fujian Delivers Dual-Purpose Vessel to France
The Southeast Shipyard in east China's
Fujian
Province recently delivered a passenger and cargo dual purpose vessel to a French customer. It is the first such vessel exported to
France
by Fujian.
The vessel "Tahiti" can carry 1,300 tons of goods, with room for heavy-duty vehicles and 150 passengers plus 55 crew members. It can travel at 16 knots per hour.
The vessel is equipped with sophisticated systems for satellite telecommunications, automatic guidance and fresh water processing.
