Shanghai Delivers 100th Even Tail to Boeing

The Shanghai Aircraft Factory will soon deliver its 100th even tail for Boeing 737-NG airplanes to the Boeing company.

Boeing experts in Shanghai said even tails produced by the Chinese factory conform to international aviation quality control standards and are comparable to international advanced levels.

Officials at the Shanghai Aircraft Factory said the factory has employed Computer Auxiliary Manufacture (CAM), digital-controlled processing and other sophisticated manufacturing technologies to ensure the high quality of its products.

The Shanghai factory started producing even tails for Boeing in 1999. It has the capacity to produce eight tails per month and
