Song and Dance Marking Tibet Peaceful Liberation Anniversary

Chinese Vice President Hu Jintao attended an event with wonderful song and dance performance marking the 50th anniversary of the peaceful liberation of Tibet at the people's hall in Lhasa Wednesday night.

Hu, also a member of the Political Bureau Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, is head of a central government delegation for celebration activities for the anniversary in Tibet.

Titled "Golden Years," the performance highlighted the great development in Tibet following the region's peaceful liberation.

Through many famous ethnic dances and songs, the performance conveys a thankful voice of the people from all ethnic groups in Tibet to the Communist Party of China, which led them to happy life and prosperous development.
