News Website Covering Northeast Asia Opened
A comprehensive news website covering reports in northeast Asia was officially launched Tuesday in northeast China's Heilongjiang Province.
Initiated by the provincial Publicity Department, the www. northeast.com.cn is joined by major media in the province and China Telecom local branch.
Vice Party Secretary Han Guizhi of the province said the dotcom will open more than 130 news channels everyday to provide the latest news and information of northeast China, Russia, the Republic of Korea (ROK), Japan, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) and Mongolia.
Han expected that the news website integrating forces of the provincial media will open a window for the world to know more about the area.
