Huabin International Increases Investment in China¡°Drink Red Bull when tired or sleepy¡±¡ªthe commercial slogan is familiar even to children. The well-known beverage company actually is only one of several enterprises controlled by Huabin International Investment Group, according to the latest Beijing Review.Huabin is a transnational corporation with its headquarters in Bangkok and branches in the United States, Canada, Singapore and Hong Kong. Huabin ¡®s major investment destination is China, where the contractual value of its investment totals 4.5 billion yuan in the fields of beverages, real estate and property management, Disney-like theme parks, five-star deluxe country clubs, inbound and outbound tourism, and international trade and finance. Yan Bin, chairman of the Huabin Group, is a patriotic compatriot. Being young and successful, the Chinese-Thai entrepreneur owns about 50 enterprises in the fields of real estate, tourism, business and trade and has put investments around the world. Since 1992, Yan has invested in China, participating in the economic construction of his motherland. Red Bull Vitamin Beverage Co. Ltd., founded by Yan, has developed into a well-known domestic enterprise. He also established Beijing Wonderland Co. Ltd., Huabin International Tower Co. Ltd. and Huabin Plantation Club Co. Ltd. in 1997 and 1998. Huabin International Tower is a world-class 5-A ¡°intelligent¡± building, with interior decoration designed by experts from Hong Kong and France. Its professional property management provides first-class services. Huabin Estate, located in Changping District in Beijing ¡®s northern suburbs, covers an area of more than 400 hectares. It consists of a country club and an international golf club. The golf club, designed by the well-known golfer and course architect Jack Nicklaus, is the only course fit for world-class competition in northeast China. The golf club is frequented by members of the China Association of Enterprises With Foreign Investment.
