Central Art Delegation Arrived at Lhasa

To celebrate the golden jubilee marking the peaceful liberation of Tibet Autonomous Region, a central art delegation arrived at Lhasa on July 16, bringing with them cordial greetings from the Party Central Committee and the best wishes from all other national compatriots throughout China.

The art delegation with its over 100 members were warmly received and presented hada at the airport. The artists also conveyed their benediction to the Tibetans by moistening and catapulting Tibet's unique barely wine with their fingers.

The delegation will give about 20 performances in Lhasa and other places in Tibet Autonomous Region.
