Chinese Kindergarten Famous for Special Music Training to Run Branches Overseas

An art-oriented kindergarten affiliated with the Beijing-based Conservatory of Chinese Music will run several branches in the United States, Canada and Malaysia later this year.

"Doctor Sang Method," a special music training system for children aged between three and six, has been successfully initiated in the kindergarten and earned a sound reputation in the Chinese capital, according to sources with the Beijing Evening News.

The method can greatly tap children's music potential and has proven to be successful in helping children acquire an appreciation for music and performing arts ability which are theoretically supposed to be possessed by college sophomores majoring in music, according to teachers with the kindergarten.

The kindergarten provides a "pure" music environment for the children, who wake up and go to bed in music, sources said.
