Half-Century Old Book on Mao Zedong Found
A monographic book on Chairman Mao Zedong and his theory published more than half a century ago was recently found in Xianyang in the northwestern province of
Shaanxi
.
Experts said it is the earliest example of this type of book to have been discovered so far.
The book, belonging to a retired official Li Furong, was published in March 1946 by the writer Zhang Ruxin.
The 99-page book was divided into five chapters expounding Mao' s philosophy and thoughts.
The book also includes treatises by Mao's colleagues like Zhou Enlai, Zhu De and Liu Shaoqi.
