Musharraf Leaves for New Delhi for Agra Summit

Pakistani President General Pervez Musharraf left Islamabad early Saturday morning for New Delhi at the invitation of Indian Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee.

During his stay in India, Musharraf will hold a summit with Vajpayee in Agra on Sunday. The summit will focus on outstanding issues between the two countries, particularly the Kashmir dispute which has intensified the Indo-Pak relations for the last 53 years.

General Musharraf is accompanied by his wife and an entourage including Foreign Minister Abdul Sattar, Foreign Secretary Inam-ul- Haq and other senior officials.
