Cambodian-Chinese Hail Beijing's Success in Bidding for Olympic Games

All the three local newspapers in Chinese are carrying editorials Saturday that hail Beijing's successful bid for the 2008's Olympic Games as a long cherished dream of the Chinese people coming true.

The Commercial News, Jian Hua Daily and Sin Chew Daily Saturday respectively carried editorials on front pages, titled in " Beijing's Olympic Games: Pride of Chinese People", "Beijing Won" and "Beijing's Success Creates Splended Page in China's History", congratulating the Beijing on successful Olympic Games Bid.

Beijing won the right to host the 2008 Olympics has finally realized the dream of the Chinese generations for many years that reflects the increased cohesion of the Chinese nation, and will add a glorious page in the Olympic Games, the editorials said.

This also indicated that the world has recognized the great achievements of China's reform and open policy, they said.

The editorials noted that Today's China is enjoying unprecedented political stability and economic prosperity, and the future of China will be much better.

They wish that the 2008 Beijing Olympics will become one of the most successful Olympic Games in the history of Olympics.
