The Olympic Committee of Chinese Taipei Friday congratulated
Beijing
for winning the right to host the
2008 Olympic Games
.
"We extend our congratulations and heartfelt good wishes to you after your good qualifications won the recognition of most members of the International Olympic Committee," said Huang Ta-chou, chairman of the Chinese Taipei Olympic Committee, read a message to the Chinese Olympic Committee.
