A TV play series "Sink", produced jointly by three units on the basis of the material about Xiamen "Yuanhua Smuggling Case", will be shown on TV.

Xiamen Yuanhua Smuggling Case is the most serious smuggling and corruption case in China ever since 1949. Investigation revealed that the smuggled goods were mainly refined oil, vegetable oil, cars and cigarettes worth 53 billion yuan (approximately US$6.4 billion) and tax fraud and evasion valued at over 30 billion yuan.

The TV play series records the whole course of investigation, conducted by the "4.20" special task force composed of officials from the central authorities in August 1999, into the case of Lai Changxing smuggling group.
