Drug Traffickers Arrested in E. China City

Police in Wenzhou, in east China's Zhejiang Province, recently arrested two drug traffickers, seizing 4100 grams of heroin.

A man harboring the drugs was also detained, police said. The police arrested Zhu Qishan, on May 16 in Hongqiao Town in Wenzhou£¬ where he was selling drugs, and confiscated 50 grams of heroin. The next day after Zhu's confession, the police arrested Zhu Qingzhe£¬ the other trafficker, in Wuniu Town in Yongjia County in Wenzhou.

During inquest of Zhu Qingzhe, the police learned that he might have hidden a large amount of drugs some place in the county. The police searched the house of a relative of Zhu, who was later detained for harboring the drugs, twice and finally found a suitcase in which there was 3905 grams of heroin.

Several days later, Zhu's cousin reported to the police that she had found heroin in a traveling bag that Zhu had entrusted to her. The heroin totaled 85 grams.

Investigations by the police showed that Zhu had lived in Myanmar for six years and became addicted to drugs. He bought 4000 grams of heroin in May this year while in Myanmar and secretly took it back to his hometown, to sell for profit.
