Jilin Signs 3.5-Billion-Yuan Contracts at Guangzhou Fair

The northeastern province of Jilin has signed 73 contracts, worth a total of 3.5 billion yuan ( 422 million U.S. dollars), at the ongoing Guangzhou Fair in Guangdong Province, south China.

The contracts involve agricultural products processing and trade cooperation, among others.

An exhibition of Jilin's green agricultural products and specialty products will be held between July 12 and 17 during the fair.

Jilin, a major agricultural province in northeast China, plans to sign with domestic and foreign partners at the fair a total of 100 contracts, concerning the key sectors of agricultural development, domestic animal and fowl raising, animal product processing, and the development of agricultural machines and technologies.
