Eritrean National Forces Alliance Calls for Transitional Govt.The alliance of Eritrean National Forces has called for a transitional government in Eritrea to help ensure peace and democracy in the country, the Ethiopian News Agency reported Monday in Addis Ababa.In a statement issued following a two-day meeting it held last week in Toronto, Canada, the alliance said establishing a transitional government is the only option for a sustainable peace and democracy in Eritrea. The alliance also urged the Eritrean people to support its struggle for the establishment of a democratic government that encompasses all political parties. More than 500 Eritreans from North America and Canada attended the meeting. |
