China to Open Population Websites
Websites containing information related to China's population and family planning policies are slated to open July 11 to mark World Population Day.
The
State Family Planning Commission
(SFPC) is sponsor of website www.sfpc.com, which is written in English.
The Chinese version will be available at www.chinapop.com and www.gjjsw.gov.cn. These two websites are expected to not only facilitate communications between family planning authorities and population departments but also connect ordinary people with government officials for policy consulting.
