Overseas Chinese Back Beijing's Olympic Bid

More than 40 overseas Chinese organizations in Boston area of the United States have jointly launched a sign-in collecting 10,000 signatures to back up Beijing's 2008 Olympic bid.

Their representatives lately went on a flight to Beijing and handed the album bearing 10,000 signatures over to the Beijing Olympic Bid Committee.

Since launching of the sign-in last April it had evoked ardent response in the US among a multitude of overseas Chinese from China's mainland, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Various measures had been adopted by those overseas Chinese organizations like setting up publicity boards to publicize China's Olympics and collect signatures. During the sign-in, people all expressed their best wishes for the success of Beijing's Olympic bid.
