, vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (
NPC
), left
Beijing
Monday for the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (
DPRK
).
Jiang, who is also a political bureau member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), will attend the activities held by DPRK in commemoration of the 40th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Friendly Cooperation and Mutual Assistance between China and DPRK.
