Kunming Hosts Exhibition, Symposium on Chinese, Korean Art
An exhibition on the ethnic arts of China and the Republic of Korea (ROK) opened Friday at the Kunming Nationalities Museum in this capital city of southwest China's Yunnan Province.
During the exhibition period, the museum will present over 340 sets of costumes from different ethnic groups in both China and the ROK.
An international symposium titled "Ethnic Culture of East Asia in the 21st Century" opened at the same time, co-hosted by the Yunnan Nationalities Museum, the Kunming Social Sciences Institute, and two institutes of the ROK.
The ROK will host a similar exhibition and seminar this October.
