China Exports Two-Humped Camels to Saudi Arabia

China has exported some 37 two- humped camels from Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region to Saudi Arabia.

As a desert country, Saudi Arabia is home of the one-hump camel and it does not have two-humped camels.

At the end of last year, the authorities of Saudi Arabia expressed a wish to introduce two-humped camels to his country.

The camels are from Alxa Left Banner at the Badain Jaran Desert. An additional 21 such creatures will be sent to Saudi Arabia soon.

The camels will be put into the country's zoos and will be bred to increase their numbers there.
