CBOC & Mobile Digital Sci-Tech Group Join Hands for "Mobile Bank" Business
Thursday saw a joint promotion for "Mobile Bank" business by Shanghai Branch of China's Bank of Communications (CBOC) and Mobile Digital Sci-tech Group in Shanghai. The CBOC has henceforth become the leading bank in the inland financial circle to provide banking services by mobile phone-set.
Sources say that the "mobile bank" service is co-developed by Shanghai Branch of CBOC and Guangzhou Chuangbo Digital Sci-tech Co. Ltd., a subsidiary company of Mobile Digital Sci-tech Group, on the basis of their well-developed "Tongtian Bank" system software. It can serve various types of WAP MP sets in the market. Clients will be able to conduct personal financial transactions through the Internet by operating the intellective menu on the MP screen. For ordinary MP users, they can also handle their personal banking business and conduct real-time online operation through interactive Chinese short message. The "mobile bank" system has put an end once and for all to the defect that clients have to pay for another SIM card supported by STK technology, thereby making the current communication tool a simple yet useful long-distance tool for personal finance. This is the advantage that the "Tongtian Bank" system software has brought about.
At the opening ceremony, person in charge of the Mobile Digital Sci-Tech Group expressed that they will make full use of their sci-tech advantages in mobile Internet and unfold a long-term and extensive cooperation with the CBOC. The cooperation will cover comprehensive e-commerce services such as mobile office and mobile payment.
