Chinese Students Won Out in Olympic Contest

According to sources from China Association for Science and Technology, five Chinese high school students won four gold medals and one silver medal at the 32nd Int'l Physics Olympiad with their team score ranking first.

This Olympiad was held in Antalya of Turkey from June 26 to July 5 with over 300 young contestants from 67 countries and regions.

It is reported that altogether 22 golds, 39 silver medals and 49 copper medals were granted at the Olympiad. Teams from Russia, India, the United States and China's Taipei also notched excellent performance at the Olympiad.

China has been represented in international Olympiads of mathematics, physics, chemistry, information science and biology since 1985.
