Airlines of Irkutsk Crash Promises Convenience to Families of Chinese Victims

Vladivostok-Avia airlines, owner of the Tu-154 plane crashed in Irkutsk Tuesday, has vowed to provide convenience to family members of Chinese victims for their condolence trip to Russia.

This was announced by Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Zhang Qiyue here Thursday at a regular press conference.

While extending her condolence to the victims as well as sympathy to their families, Zhang said that Chinese diplomats in Russia have arrived at the crash site and they are negotiating with relevant Russian departments on dealing with matters concerned.

One hundred and thirty-six passengers and nine crew members were killed in the crash, including 12 Chinese passengers.
