China Donates Humanitarian Aid to Afghan Refugees within Pakistan

China Donates Humanitarian Aid to Afghan Refugees within Pakistan
The hand-over ceremony of humanitarian aid worth 2 million RMB (about 242,000 U.S. dollars) by the Chinese government to Afghan refugees within Pakistan was held on Thursday.

Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Lu Shulin and Minister for Kashmir Affairs, Northern Areas, States and Frontier Regions Abbas Sarfaraz Khan signed and swapped the hand-over certificates at the ceremony on behalf of respective government.

The donations includes tents, generators, cooking utensils and other necessities which, as Mr. Lu pointed out, were provided to relieve the "too long and too much" sufferings taken by Afghan refugees.

Sarfaraz expressed his gratitude to Mr. Lu for the persistent contribution extended by the Chinese government to Afghans in bad need of material help.
