Canadian Company Invests in Tourism in Qinghai
A Canadian company has signed an agreement with the government of western China's
Qinghai
Province to develop tourism resources along the section of the Yellow River in the province.
The company will invest 37.5 million U.S. dollars for integrated development of tourism resources in the region.
The Yellow River, China's second-longest river and usually muddy in its middle and lower reaches, originates in Qinghai and is crystal clear within the province.
A senior official of the company said the company will invest in profitable tourism programs including holiday zones with features unique to the province.
