DPRK, Netherlands to Found Joint Venture Corporation
Pyongyang General Horticulture Company of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) and the Holland Euro-Asia Group of the Netherlands signed Wednesday a contract to set up a joint venture corporation, local media reported on Thursday.
The two companies will jointly set up a new corporation, Pyongyang-Euro Asia Joint Venture, which will focus on cultivating vegetables and flowers, said Korean Central News Agency.
President of the Holland Euro-Asia Group Bin Yang and staff members from both companies as well as relevant officials from the DPRK side attended Wednesday's signing ceremony at the People's Palace of Culture of Pyongyang.
