A sign-in June 3- July 5 to show Hong Kong citizens backing up Beijing's 2008 Olympic bid was launched in Hong Kong by the Leisure and Culture Services Department of HK SAR.

Spokesman of LCSD said that HK citizens who support Beijing's Olympic bid should as soon as possible sign their names at LCSD's office and such places as libraries, museums, and railway stations.

The signatures will be delivered to Beijing on June 6 by Hon FOK Tsun-ting, Timothy, chairman of the Amateur Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, to express desires of HK citizens for Beijing winning the right to host the 2008 Olympic Games.

The current sign-in in Hong Kong is one among a series of activities to back up Beijing's 2008 Olympic bid. The International Olympic Committee will decide by vote the hosting city of the 2008 Olympic Games in Moscow on July 13.
