China, Japan Trade Talks End Without Resolving Disputes

China and Japan failed to resolve their trade disputes after negotiators concluded their two-day talks in Beijing Wednesday. Both sides agreed to have more talks as early as possible.

China, Japan Begin Negotiations on Trade Disputes

Chinese and Japanese officials began formal talks Tuesday afternoon in Beijing to try to resolve their trade disputes. The two sides will discuss the import tariffs imposed by Japan on three Chinese farm products and China's special tariffs on Japanese exports to China, according to the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation (MOFTEC).

China, Japan Agree to Continue Trade Negotiations Wednesday

China and Japan held talks Tuesday afternoon on the temporary protective measures imposed by Japan on three Chinese farm products and China's special tariffs on Japanese exports to China. According to the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation (MOFTEC), the two sides expressed their respective position in the talks, which was held at the department level.
