First Picture Album of Li Ethnic Group Published"The Traditional Culture of the Li Ethnic Group" -- China's first picture album documenting the Li ethnic group, made its debut Tuesday in this capital city of China 's southernmost Hainan Province.
The picture album, weighing four kg, introduces the origin and development of Li traditional culture through 400 pictures, covering houses, family, diet, costume, religion and folklore, and the Li ethnic group's custom of tattooing.
The Li are one of China's 56 ethnic groups, and mainly lived on the island of Hainan. The picture album was published by Xinhua Publishing House.
