Chinese Vice-premier to Attend IOC Moscow Meeting
On behalf of the Chinese government, Vice Premier
Li Lanqing
will attend the 112th plenary session of the International Olympic Committee in Moscow from July 10 to 14.
Chinese Foreign Ministry
spokeswoman Zhang Qiyue announced this Tuesday at a regular press conference.
Zhang said that the IOC will vote on July 13 on which city to host the
2008 Olympic Games
on July 13. Chinese Vice Premier Li Lanqing will make a report during the meeting, expounding on the Chinese government's support of
Beijing
to bid the 2008 Olympic Games.
