Chinese Premier Meets Australian Guest

Chinese Premier Zhu Rongji met Tuesday morning met with Western Australia's Premier Geoff Gallop and expressed the hope that the friendship and cooperation between China and Australia could be further expanded.

Gallop briefed Zhu on certain cooperative projects between Western Australia and its Chinese partner.

Zeng Peiyan, minister in charge of the State Development Planning Commission, was among those present at the meeting.
