Jiang's Speech at CPC Anniversary Gathering Highly Praised
The important speech delivered by Jiang Zemin, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), at a grand gathering marking the 80th founding anniversary of the CPC Sunday, has evoked strong reverberation among officials of central government organs, institutions and enterprises under direct administration of the central government.
They said that Jiang's speech is a programmatic document of great historic significance and important operation significance.
They said that they will earnestly study Jiang's speech to grasp its essence, unite as one inwardly, do their jobs with a down-to-earth attitude and have a pioneering spirit to push forward the Party work in an all-round way.
They made the remarks at group discussions held by their respective work units following the closing of the grand gathering at the Great Hall of the People in the national capital.
Jiang's speech recalled the 80-year struggling course of the CPC, expounded the role of the CPC in pushing forward the social progress in China, profoundly explained the irrefutable truth that without the Communist Party, there would have been no New China and proved incontrovertibly that the CPC is a great, glorious and correct party, and is the core force in leading the Chinese people to gain victory in revolution and construction of the country.
During group discussions, cadres and employees also spoke highly of Jiang's expatiation on the "three represents" and his calling on strengthening Party building and the Party's determination to fight corruption.
