China Marks 80th Founding Anniversary of CPC
A grand gathering is held to mark the 80th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) at the Great Hall of the People Sunday morning.
Jiang Zemin, Li Peng, Zhu Rongji, Li Ruihuan, Hu Jintao, Wei Jianxing and Li Lanqing attended the meeting.
Jiang Zemin, general secretary of the CPC Central Committee, will deliver an important speech at the meeting.
