Wei Jianxing Writes Foreword for Book on Party BuildingWei Jianxing, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC), has written the foreword for a collection of documents on Party building, compiled by the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection.In the foreword, Wei points out that the CPC's success over the past 80 years has relied on the correct guidance of Marxism- Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought and Deng Xiaoping theory, the support and participation of the people, the continued efforts of numerous loyal CPC members, and the strict and impartial discipline and excellent style of the Party. Wei is also a member of both the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee and the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection. The book, which was published by the China Fangzheng Publishing House, is a collection of important instructions on improving the Party style and strengthening Party building by Mao Zedong, Deng Xiaoping and Jiang Zemin, who head the three generations of the CPC leadership. The collection also includes important proposals, decisions, decrees, regulations, working reports, major law cases, and other documents of the disciplinary and supervisory departments.
