Lunar Eclipse Visible in Hong Kong

Hong Kong people are expecting to see a partial eclipse of the moon, which will occur on July 5, according to Hong Kong Observatory.

During the eclipse, the partial eclipse phase will commence at 9:35 p.m. on July 5 and end at 0:15 a.m. on July 6. The best place to observe the event will be on high grounds with no obstruction of sight to the south-southeast.

The next lunar eclipse observable in Hong Kong will occur on December 30, 2001. The event will be a penumbral eclipse.
