Shanghai: Online Goods selling Tied to Quality

Shanghai will introduce from July 7 on a responsibility system under which online selling (wholesale and retail sale of goods) will be tied closely to product quality. Netizens are well entitled to claim compensations if they are sold shoddy or flawed goods and in no way immune should also be those of suppliers unless if they could prove themselves to be exempted.

Statistics show that by now over 30 percent of enterprises have been out for online selling of products in Shanghai, with a yearly turnover near 600m yuan achieved via "Online Purchase" service, and the goods mainly include software, communication equipment, food, book and electrical household appliance.
