Mad-cow Testing Lab Put into Use
After four months' preparation China's first testing lab for mad-cow disease has been set up for use in
Beijing
.
The laboratory consists of rooms for conducting histo-pathological test and immuno-cell chemical test and so on. Under instruction and arrangement of the relevant departments, the lab would take up the mad-cow checkup and control on imported and exported animals and studies on testing and quarantine techniques.
China has been keeping a close eye on the spreading of mad-cow disease and by now no case has been found in the country.
