Huge Investment to Flow into Qinghai's Tourism Industry
Investors from other parts of China¡¯s mainland,
Hong Kong
,
Macao
,
Taiwan
and abroad have agreed here to pour more than 800 million yuan to develop the unique tourism resources in northeast China' s
Qinghai
Province.
These investment agreements were signed on the '2001 Qinghai Tourism Industry Investment Fair yesterday in Xining, the capital city of 3.6 million Qinghai Province.
The tourism industry is the new economic growth outlet and regarded as the leading component of the service sector of Qinghai Province. Last year Qinghai was visited by 3.6 million tourists, making an income of 1.5 billion yuan to its tourism industry.
